Myanmar to sell Thai slimming coffee

Thailand-made Fatis Slimming Coffee will begin selling its products in Myanmar targeting coffee lovers with interest in beauty and health, according to a local distributor.

Myanmar’s Food and Drug Administration recently approved Fatis Slimming Coffee which claims to reduce cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood and help lose the body weight. The coffee is said to be suitable for those with diabetes and heart disease.


"This health coffee powder is directly imported from Thailand as a new product this month. At a Thailand Trade Expo, our company first offered to distribute the coffee [in Myanmar]. One can drink Fatis coffee anytime of the day at least twice. The coffee has no side effects for those suffering heart disease or insomnia," said Min Htet, Sales Manager of Best 149 International Ltd.

Best 149 International Ltd. is a local company distributing Thailand cosmetic products such as Camella Cosmetics, D Cash Professional Hair Care Series, Lifeford make-up and Green Test Organic in Myanmar.

Myanmar is the latest country in Fatis Slimming Coffee's regional portfolio, as it has already established market presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.
